In this penultimate instalment of my Indie bookshop hopping, I'm taking you to @bookbaruk

I came across Book Bar via IG around 2 years ago & I loved the fact that they are also a licensed wine bar. Can you imagine winding down in the summer sun after work with a crisp glass of wine & your favourite book? Sounds like a taste of heaven to me.

The bookshop itself is split over 2 levels. Upstairs, you can browse the bookshelves and order a beverage at the till to have either upstairs or downstairs.

If you venture downstairs, you will be greeted by more books, a gorgeous five-star reads blackboard & some seating to drink, read, or co-work.

Perks of visiting: Bookmarks with purchases! Lovely customer service! As mentioned above, a cosy bookshop to read & drink!

Word on the street is that @bookbaruk will be opening a new store in the summer, which will be located in Chelsea, so keep an eye out!
